Due to a wealth of life experience to draw from, my interests are varied, and I have a level of confidence and understanding that makes for excellent, insightful interviews. I have experience as a copywriter, copy editor, researcher and proofreader. I have written and edited newsletters and brochures, book and television proposals, script coverages and analyses, web content and more.
As well, I have completed an editing certificate at Simon Fraser University and I was Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC) BC Chapter President from 2010-2104.

As owner and operator of 'Reel Appetites', a film catering company, Jane maintained and oversaw complex and integrated service competition. She employed over 40 personnel, overseeing operations including customer service, accounting, inventory control and costing for sales over $3million annually. Jane also created and maintained schedules for upwards of 15 productions and corporate clients, originated a web site, facilitated food costing and developed a tracking program.
Prior to that, Jane was Manager for Station Street Arts Centre. She managed personnel, liased with actors and publicists, wrote PSA's, press releases and fundraising applications. She also maintained government-funded programs,working with their budgets and constraints.
